Kangaroo Segway Tours FAQ's

RESERVATIONS:

Reservations open 1 year in advance and can be made via our website. Please ensure that you book early to avoid missing out!

Our segways are designed for adventure in rain and sunshine. Our tours will go out as planned unless there is severe weather, in which case you will be contacted 2 hours prior to the tour and informed of any changes. If we need to cancel a tour due to bad weather, we will gladly help move you to another tour on a later date or provide a full refund if this is not possible.

We provide complimentary rain ponchos in light rain.

CHANGE – CANCEL – LATE ARRIVAL:

We understand that some things in life can’t be avoided, which is why we will gladly offer a full refund for any changes 72 hours before your tour. For any changes within 72 hours, please call us to discuss options.

Please ensure that you arrive 15 minutes before your tour is scheduled for the safety briefing and training. As we can’t hold up the group, any guests who arrive more than 15 minutes after the start time will need to move to another tour.

RIDER REQUIREMENTS:

Our segway tours are designed for adults and mature children (12 and up). Please call us if you are unsure whether our tours are right for you. We would be glad to answer any questions.

FACILITIES

We have bathrooms and a vending machine at our facility. All guests are encouraged to make use of the facilities before the tours to avoid delays.

STORAGE OF SMALL BAGS

We have lockers available for guests who wish to leave small bags at the site whilst they are on tour. We strongly encourage our guests not to leave any valuables behind as we cannot guarantee the safety of any items.

At Kangaroo Segway Tours, your safety and comfort are our priority. For this reason, all guests must wear a properly fitted helmet at all times whilst on tour. Knee pads and elbow pads can also be provided. All guests must sign an indemnification waiver to participate in our tours. For guests under 18 years of age, an adult must complete and sign a waiver on the minor’s behalf and attend the tour with the minor.

What to wear?

Our segway tours are best experienced in comfortable clothes appropriate for the season. Our summers in Brisbane can be warm, sunny and humid. Light comfortable clothes are best during the summer.

In winter, Brisbane is known to drop down slightly into the high teens. It’s best to bring a light jacket to put on – particularly for our night adventure!

Whichever tour you choose, or at whatever time of year, closed comfortable shoes with adequate cushioning is a must to ensure you have the best experience possible!

Get directions

We’re located at 52 Bank Street, West End 4101 (inside the bright orange Kennards building). Please wait outside next to the driveway and your guide will meet you and bring you into our secure facility.

Indemnity Form

All guests are required as a condition of participation to complete and sign an indemnity form. Forgotten to complete your form before the tour? No problem! We have an iPad at the centre where you can complete the form.
